Silkie thread!

Has anyone ever brought an older cockerel to a show who wasn't crowing before the show or wasn't crowing loudly? If so how was he after the show? I am bringing my cockerel to the poultry congress in 2 weeks, he rarely crows now and when he does it is extremely quiet. I am worried after hearing the roosters at the show he may join in and stop being his well behaved quiet self

if that ends up being the case I will have to find somewhere else for him to stay until I get my own house.

I put Icelynn's crest up, she honestly couldn't see at all! It's not like I can trim it because I am showing her so she gets a "bun" until show day

Here is my favorite girl's comb. I tried to wet her crest to push it back, but failed lol. Her comb is like a cluster of little bumps.

Everyone meet...Macho's brother! Not literally his brother, but he's the from the same hatch. I don't think I've posted a pic of just him yet. He's beautiful too, but doesn't have macho's chest. He also is missing a toenail on one of his toes on both feet, its like its so feathered it prevented it from growing. He's quite fluffy though

Macho's bro again, with my favorite girl.

And...Macho!

How much foot feathering should they have? Can someone post pics? Here is a pic of one of the roos, foot feathering. I really hate to send ANY of them off to freezer camp:( I did try and find homes for them:(

Well here is my pullet's foot, she's going to get even more feathery too since she is only 4 months. This is what you really want, los'a los'a feathers

Did you try posting them on craigslist? Or you can wait and bring them to a swap or show to sell.
