here's one of my boys that I gave away as i don't breed whites...but he had beautiful foot feathering...but needed a larger crest...
You have no idea how difficult it was to get them all in the cup, number one. lol And two, they really didn't sit still.Love the way you can get a photo with all still in the bowl/ cup.![]()
What a guy.
Yeah she's still feathering outLOVE, LOVE, LOVE those feet!I have a non-bearded blue pullet, should be about 7 months old now. She has way more feathers on her feet than that. I'm so sad that she's non-bearded and really not breeding material at all.![]()
Hey Liz it's Gina from Paso I was wondering if u were a member here. I included some pics of the splash rooster I kept out of the chicks I hatched from you. I love him! I've had good luck saleing a couple roosters on craigslist and posting at local feed stores. Good Luck.
. Yes, they can look in different directions. In the two cases I had they were born that way. They tucked their heads between their feet and backed up a lot. After they got better, they looked like your chick.Peepblessed, she has been like this since I got her. I did polyvisol and vitamin e for the first week we he'd her, twice a day. Has not improved. I read on another thread that it sometimes happens when the chick has trouble hatching. She is fine otherwise. I don't have to worry about her needing to look up for predators, they will have a totally enclosed run/ranging area to themselves. I thought with wry neck they always looked upward?
