I got on here just for that purpose- I saw 2 silkie pullets eating eggs I read to give them crushed oyster shell to give them more calcium, but what if they like the taste?

Yes, she is looking much better. And she is quite active when I take her out of her cage. Sticks her "nose" everywhere.

No Catdance , yet. My Catdance eggs didn't hatch because the power went out 3 times during incubation. Gonna try again. This white is from Cathleen Duckett's line. Very pretty chickens, she has.

I was thinking Catdance because you said C.D but Cathleen Duckett makes good sense.

Guys, help me out here!
I have a black pullet that's been sneezing for the last week and a half. She has a runny 'nose'. I started her on Aureomycin. That has always worked in the past when we had a chicken with the sniffles. Well, didn't work for this girl. Boss told me to give her Amoxicillin. I've been doing that for the last 3 days. I've split 125mg pills in half, given her half a pill twice a day. No change. Is this not the right kind of medicine to cure the cold she has? Or maybe she's not getting enough of it? Or maybe it's not just a cold? Other than the sneezing and runny nostrils, she's in good shape. Eats REALLY well and is very energetic.
Oh! When her sniffling first started, her right eye would get crusted shut over night. I cleaned it gently with warm water to open her eye. During the day, she was fine. When evening came, these little bubbles would come out of the eye and I'm guessing that's what caused the crusts. She still occasionally has some bubbles in her eye but no crusts.
I posted this on the diseases forum, but got absolutely no help there...
What do I need to give my pullet to cure her cold? Or is it a cold..?

Anybody have any good ideas on how to fix this hen??? She just keeps sneezing and snots are running. It's clear discharge that comes out of her nostrils.
What do I give her and where do I get it??

Try Tylan 50 injectable. You can give it orally as well. I can find the dosage for you.

That stuff does work. I gave it to my turkeys when they were young and had some sort of cold and had lots of snot, it cleared them right up.

Actually, now that I think of it. Maybe one of our instructors can get it, she's also a vet tech. I'll have to check with her!

That's good then, likely not Infectious Coroza. I would follow ChicksNherps advice. But you may also want to consider culling out.

If Tylan doesn't take care of it, I will have to consider culling. It would be a shame because she's one of my nicer pullets.
