Silkie thread!

Hi everyone. I am adding a couple Silkies to my flock, and was wondering since they will be bantams, they lay bantam eggs, right? Just seems to me that when people in the USA sell Silkies they don't refer to them as bantams, so I'm not sure. I have not had them before.
