Silkie thread!

Urgent post!
There are 2 chickens that were shipped that the labels have fallen off of the boxes.
The post office has tried everyone they know that ship birds.
If you shipped, or are waiting for birds, PLEASE PM me, or if you are a member of the Silkie chatroom on facebook, please check the posts!
Thank you, Roberta

Edited to correct, they may not be Silkies.

Does anyone have a silkie that tries to be the leader of the flock? My silkie (who is the second smallest in my flock of 7) has started being fairly bossy. whenever one of the bigger girls does her little squat, I fluff up their feathers, and Georgia (my 7 month old black silkie) will come over to me, put her foot on my hand and try to peck me. Then the other day, I was putting on of the bigger girls back in the run and she got a little bent out of shape (she doesn't like being held) and as soon as she landed, Georgia went flying at her! I know she is a she because she is at POL and does her little squat anytime I pass my hand over her. I just find it interesting that she is the most physical when I have 5 LF that aren't. Is this common? I thought silkies were fairly submissive?

It is called "little chicken syndrome". Just like little dogs will take on a much bigger dog. It is like dynamite, big explosion in a small package

So far, 3 have hatched (one needed a little help) and 2 more are pipping that I can tell. This one is the driest, and I can already tell he has feathering on all of his sweet little toes.
Those feet are simply PERFECT! Really cute chick! She is a keeper

got some pictures of icelynn after a bath and using the bottoms up volume spray, pictures stink but oh well(camera is broken, have to use crappy phone). If her tail was more full you could see better (molting) but it really boosted her volume
