Silkie thread!

I don't have any meat in the fridge right now, only eggs. Would my eating eggs be okay? I don't really have a "cool" room, only a freezing room. I guess I could put them in my bedroom, it is cooler but still gets over 65. Is that too high? I wish I had a wine cooler!
A lot of people leave them in their kitchen counter and I am sure their house temperature isn't below 60F, so I will think it will be ok. I hope someone else could confirm.
do I have to turn the eggs even when they are just sitting? I only collected it this morning, and my thought was I had to keep it larger end up to settle so the air cell will attach to that end? Is this right or did I misread?
I think so. Once you collect them you still need to turn them manually or in the egg turner for 18 days (but the temperature will be 99.5 for a fan forced incubator)

We keep ours at room temperature (about 68) but not in direct sunlight. They hatch out fine.

Did you get the PM I sent yesterday? I was hoping that you would take a look at the three roosters I have pictured in this thread and let me know what you think, especially about what color the two are.
Also congrats on being the TN state representatives for the American Bantam Silkie Club. I am also a Tennessean so yippee!
Thank you in advance for sharing your wealth of knowledge!

It just said can you please look at my roosters and help me figure out what color they are, and on the little buff one what do you think about him. The buff is just not manly at all. His comb is non existent the hens beat him up, and I thought he was a hen when I first looked at him. Do you think he is just young? He's cute and perfectly clean.
The next rooster was thought to be a splash but he has so much red on him that I don't think his color is splash. The hen that he is pictured with is splash but she rolled in the wet dirt right before the pictures were taken, LoL.
Finally this roo I have no clue about his color. He is molting in the pictures.
I'll post the pics again so you can see.
Thank you so much!

Then there is a rooster that was thought to be splash but he has way to much red on him. What color is he?
