My current roo is lacking in the crest department, and these look like they have the potential for some good crests. These chicks are his, however, so maybe I'll keep him even if one of these ends up male. He makes some pretty babies, even if he isn't so pretty

This is kind of an old picture of him. He's the closest one. The other is dearly departed Macho. He doesn't have a very high tail or big crest, but I like his feet and his comb, and so far I'm pleased with his offspring. He is, however, missing his outside toenails due to his foot feathering. None of the chicks inherited it, thankfully. He's alright, I guess, but I always have room for improvement

Does the darker one look buff to you guys? There is just such a difference between her (they will all be hers until proven otherwise!) and the lighter/yellow girl!

I'm not entirely sure! I'll have had them for 3 weeks tomorrow. The girl didn't know their hatch date (blasphemous, right?) but they were just barely starting to get their wing feathers. So they are maybe 3.5 weeks now?

What a bad chicken mom she was! Lol well they are definitely cute! I'm having a hard time with mine so I'm trying to find some local chicks that don't have to be shipped. I just LOVE silkies and it breaks my heart losing them

This is my white non bearded stink face we call Bernadette. I love both bearded and non bearded. Any suggestions on what to bath her in? she needs a bath more than anyone?
