I like this picture.
It could turn any color but the 2 that I had that hatched like this turned out as colombian. I'm sure some of the others will chime in with more information.
I was told he is Colombian and he does have black in his hackles, I will see if I can find a better picture of him.
Congratulations!!I got my new little ones!
They seem like they are in good health -- a little sleepy, but active, eating/drinking, pecking around etc. They're pretty unbalanced and wobbly, which I'm assuming is typical for day old chicks that have been crammed and shipped in a box right after they hatched? LOL.
I'll work on getting some better pics of them over the next few days! Is it possible to tell when they are this little if any of them are splash? I seem to have gotten quite the black/gray rainbow here!
Not serious yet. One of them needs to submit...
Thanks!! They 'danced' again this morning until I brought out their breakfast then they forgot all about it. LOLThey look like they are trying to mate one another. One will submit and they will be fine.

Wow, how did she get up on that high roost?
Our White Silkie has a bit of an attitude problem and but she actually went outside with the other girls this time, and actually had fun in the grass. And I couldn't believe it the white amber links who are 3 months old were using to their bird song to try and get stink face back even though she has an attitude.

Cute!
This picture is precious. The look on the dog's face......
That is my thoughts exactly..Buff isn't a project colour, and should be solid.
Looks like the birds in question carry partridge. My boy Steve was coloured the same.
