It could turn any color but the 2 that I had that hatched like this turned out as colombian. I'm sure some of the others will chime in with more information.

My boy Animal now

Animal as a chick, hope this helps you wein315

I'm pretty sure that's not a columbian. Looks more of a grey. I think columbians are supposed to have the dark in their hackles and other areas. I don't have my SOP with me right now to check.
I also have a rooster, similar to your coloring. He's a grey.

I had to cut their hair, they couln't see well. The lady said 2 lavender and then the white rooster, Little Rickie. But, I'm confused none are a lavender color. Lucy has neon lavender color ear lobes. What do you silkie lovers think? Are they ok? Ethel walked backwards but is ok now. Only she wont go in coop. How old do you think? Sorry, but, I'm so excited and have fallen for silkies. I never would have thought that this would happen to me.

I was told he is Colombian and he does have black in his hackles, I will see if I can find a better picture of him.

I got my new little ones!

They seem like they are in good health -- a little sleepy, but active, eating/drinking, pecking around etc. They're pretty unbalanced and wobbly, which I'm assuming is typical for day old chicks that have been crammed and shipped in a box right after they hatched? LOL.

I'll work on getting some better pics of them over the next few days! Is it possible to tell when they are this little if any of them are splash? I seem to have gotten quite the black/gray rainbow here!
Congratulations!!

Not serious yet. One of them needs to submit...

They look like they are trying to mate one another. One will submit and they will be fine.

Funny video :p
Thanks!! They 'danced' again this morning until I brought out their breakfast then they forgot all about it. LOL

Our White Silkie has a bit of an attitude problem and but she actually went outside with the other girls this time, and actually had fun in the grass. And I couldn't believe it the white amber links who are 3 months old were using to their bird song to try and get stink face back even though she has an attitude.

Wow, how did she get up on that high roost?

Some updated photos of my girl Marbles. She is just about 6 weeks old now.

Cute!

Bruce Lee is 4 weeks old now and does not let the dogs sit in my lap on the couch anymore.
This picture is precious. The look on the dog's face......

Here is a pic of my Columbian Roo I will be selling if anyone is interested... also he is a great rep for the color. I just don't have any hens to breed him too and got him in a surprise batch from a friend I hatched out last year. Hope this helps.... :)

My beautiful Paint girl Duchess and my Patridge and Blue chick hopefuls from the last couple hatches... :)
