Silkie thread!

I'd like to share pics of a couple of my new chicks.

Adorable chicks and pics!

Hi everyone , just popping on a photo of some of my silkie girls!!!! Meg is the Buff, Jett is the black, Spooky is the white and dear little Speedy is the speckled Wyandotte x Silkie grey and white/black. I love these fluff balls!!!
Very cute!

Alright!! We're going to our second show tomorrow!!

I'm taking 3 Silkies this time instead of one. Splash cockerel, black pullet and my partridge pullet. I'm really not so sure about the partridge, I don't think she looks great but I figured what the heck. I already sent in entries and paid for everything, might as we..

There will be pictures tomorrow!

Best of luck. Can't wait to see the pictures.

My "Special Needs" Porcelain boy, Buck, finally got confidence to start crowing today at almost 7mo. I got him from Karen almost 2 months ago. Also another young cockerel, 4mo from another line started crowing too. So now I have 3 crowing Silkies
Congratulations.

One of my 3 week old silkie chicks has a red comb. I first noticed it a few days ago. None of my other 7 silkies have red like that. Is this normal for a 3 week old chick? Does it mean anything? I know red usually means a roo, but isn't it too early for this?

Yay =D I'm going to be sending my boss a list of dates I will not be working because of shows haha! I have a list! Including connecticut and rhode island so maybe I will see you sometime this year!

Can't wait to see pics of you babies!
What show are you going to in CT? Is there one I don't know about? lol
I plan on being at the Little Rhody show again in October. Maybe I'll go to the New England Bantam club show in MA in August also.

Well...didn't take too many pictures today. This was pretty much it, other than some shots of Cassie's New Hampshire Red and Production Reds cruising around on the lawn. lol

My splash cockerel was BV. Partridge pullet was 2nd. Black pullet 1st. Not much to brag about.

That's how my Lil Roo'let started......Looks like ya got a Lil Roo'let too!!!!

I've got some vet wrapped stuck in the scab of my little chick with the problem wing :( I can't stand to hear it yell when I try to take it off. I'm going to try some baby oil, maybe- but that will soften up the scab again.
