Silkie thread!

Little Lila scratching around like a mad woman.

I decided to name this chick Nosy Rosie. She's very nosy. lol And I'm thinking it's a girl. Still too young to tell but sure looks girlie compared to the other 3 that are definitely boys. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Don't remember if I'd posted that my 3 Silkies are Broody again or not. Roo is a Partridge. 2yr old hen is Crested/Bearded White. Also a 1yr old Black Bearded non Crested hen and a 10mo old White Showgirl. They have been sharing 9 eggs. 1 hatched 2 days ago and another hatched today.

Both are Blue Silkies. One is Crested, one isn't. I'm sure hoping all of the eggs hatch!

Thanks :) it will be interesting to see how they fill out. By the way I've been following your barn story from your loss. I can't say how heavy my heart felt for you and your loss. I am glad that as the Phoenix rises from the ashes you have to and are moving ahead yet keeping those animals in your heart.

Thank you. I really appreciate it. It was a sad day when I had to announce the loss on here. Everyone on the NCK thread took a day or two from speaking about anything else. It seemed to hit a lot of people close to home.. It was something I would not wish on my worst enemy.

My new animals are such a blessing, and I am so happy that I have birds from my beloved original flock. Someone actually came forward and gave me a trio I had sold them out of my sizzles last year. The male needs serious work (which is why I sold him), but at least I have the frizzled gene back.

Rejoicing with you so glad to see good come out of so much pain. Xxxxooooo
Thank you!
