How is your hen doing that bumped her head?

She is getting better she is eating and drinking and yesterday she even came when called. slowly but she came I have just been giving her time she alone time and she got really bad there for awhile I did not think she would make it. She is still jerking her head but not as bad. I have my fingers crossed!

I have those cockerel pens right next to breeder pens sometimes. Right now one of my bachelor pens is right next to my pen of faverolle breeders. It might work better to totally separate them off out. Different barn...can't see or hear them. Out of sight out of mind.... Well I have 1 big 50x100' barn to work with and have to make do. As long as they aren't in the same pen as the girls, it seems to work for me.

Thanks! I hope your baby will calm down! You have a very high energy level! Have you tried lactose free formula? It worked wonders for my 3 babies, my Dr. did not agree but once I switched I rarely needed the gas drops.

Just want to bump this post. Hoping someone can help me with any information or resources.

I wish you were closer to me I pretty sure I have a girl you'd want. Have you looked on the breeders list for anyone near you? Or maybe on the ASBC? If you love silkies even not for show you'd probably enjoy being a member

I would like to sell my buff roo, I have no idea what price to set, or even if I should set one!
Here are some pics, he's about 8 months old and very friendly. Good with hens, is fertile, I have several of his eggs hatching now.

Any help would appreciated, if I need to post more pics or info to tell, I can get them/it.

Where are you planning to post him for sale? You might get more if you're willing to ship him and someone is looking for a buff roo. If you post on craigslist or local depending on your area your price I think would be different. Locally here I can sell a rooster usually for $25 pretty easy some places you can't even give them away

I was planning on posting him here in the BST section, Craiglist possibly.
I am not sure about shipping, probably just locally. I haven't shipped anything besides eggs before.
It varies here, price wise for roosters.
