Shea all better. Walking around and stuff. Gave her yogert and she's gottes so much better. She was egg bound. I felt an egg and when I went to wash my hands I came back and found an egg. It was soft shell tho

Good outcome. She may not have any further problem, but just to be safe , add some vegetable or olive oil to a mash and feed it to her. I give mine sardines in olive oil.

Make sure she getting enough calcium.

I have 20 fertile Catdance eggs hatching today, already have 10 pips and one little lavender out. Cant wait its always so much fun, i'll post pics soon!

oh so fun!!! My rooster I got is a catdance roo. and man, he is a feisty thing. I named him Tough Stuff, AKA, Mr Tough. LOL. sometimes Mr T. he's a pretty fellow, but gee. he sure likes everyone to know who's boss!

Day 22 for the new silkie egg!!!! No hatch yet that I know of... but when I candled it last that chick was movin!!!! Super excited! Any guesses on color? I had a greyish blue roo and I've got a buff broody.
The roo is colored like this

I have a splash hen that has like a bald spot on her head so her crest does not look as full as it used to. I just noticed her crest looking smaller about two weeks ago when I was getting her ready for a show. I have two shows coming up, one in almost a week and another in about three weeks. I don't know if its just taking a while to come back in or what. I have no idea when the feathers came out or how but her crest definitely looks smaller and I don't know why its not coming back in? Its been about 2-3 weeks now from when I noticed it. Oh and she doesn't seem to be molting.

it is day 6 and I saw no change on eggs in Bator.

I cracked one and nothing. Itbwas fertile and o even compared to store bought egg. But it wasn't doing anything.

temps set at 100 and turning hem 3x Idk what's wrong. My roosters supposedly,11 months a silkie and his spur is 1/2 inch long. Idk if he is infertile or maybe I'm,crazy and there not fertile. I looked in middle of circle and it looks like a squirt of white was places inside..hard to explain.

ivsee him do wing thing and peck her head but never he deed.

I have no other roosters so he can't watch what he is doing. What to do?

I wouldn't gt rid of him if he was infertile but he would have amazing chicks as he is super sweet.

I would leave the rest and check on day 10. Some eggs take longer than others. My fertile egg I have hatching today or tomorrow didn't show alot until day 10. Then I could see some veins. Patience is virtue with these eggs! I don't know a lot about eggs in a bator but theres a tip. GOOD LUCK!
