My first silkie. A Buff hatched on Christmas Eve. I named her Noel. The only one out of 7 to hatch and thrive.

I think its the lighting on my camera. She doesn't seem so bright yellow in person but man this picture sure does. lol

I had 4 make it to lockdown but a power outage when I wasn't home caused some issues. Usually, I have the generator going within 5 minutes. I had a BBS pip and start to zip but half way around, it died for some reason.

I had 4 make it to lockdown but a power outage when I wasn't home caused some issues. Usually, I have the generator going within 5 minutes. I had a BBS pip and start to zip but half way around, it died for some reason.

I have trouble with power outages, too. I borrow my brother's generator, but it doesn't last more than an hr. I've lost some due to that, I think.
