Please prey for my amazing friend @Ramblin Rooster ....... I just checked my Instagram and saw his partridge hen Butterscotch came down with the tell tale signs of Mareks.....He is really sad and may have to end up putting her down! His Petsitter found this when he was on vacation....now she is to the point where she cannot walk and has a foot that reaches forward. Butterscotch was one of his first silkies, and also raised some chicks...if she DOES have mareks......who knows what other birds in his flock she had been around! PLEASE prey for his flock! he is such a nice friend of mine! ~Bantambury

Hello I just purchased an adult silkie roo. He is very docile has any one ever heard of rooster that likes to be held? This guy loves to sit on my lap and petted. He could sit on my lap for hours if I let him.
Is there certain grooming measures that be to be done with silkies?

Mine do. All of our roosters, big and little are really sweet.
