The parents to those partridges are dark. All their chicks that i've hatched out turned out the color in the pic I posted. I thought all 4 where pullets but it turned out the one in front and the one in the back with the light color on her head are the girls. The other 2 are boys. I do have them for sale too. I don't want to put brother and sister together. I put the girls in the pen with their parents. They haven't gone thru a molt yet but I expect them to soon. The roo has been breeding them lately. I need to get another nest box in there. Their mother is broody and won't let the pullets near her box. lol
That sizzle came from a white hen and the black split roo, or maybe he's gray. I've never really gotten an exact color on him. He's my favorite and a real cuddle bug. He expects me to pick him up and cuddle every time I go in the coop. He just coos up a storm.
I suspect Pricilla is the mother. She's white with 2 black spots on her. Actually all 3 of the hens are white with a black spot or two on them.
This is her

And this is the roo with the questionable color issue.

I'm positive this sizzle came from those two. He has white lacing on his neck feathers. It's very light and I haven't been able to get a good pic that shows it. He is very pretty. Solid black with the light white lacing.

These first 2 hens where protecting the smaller one which is the same age from some attackers that where bothering her. I thought it was so cute how they put her behind them. The little one is George. She's my house chicken. She was outside enjoying the day. Everytime I let her out they always protect her from getting attacked.
