Silkie thread!

The whole gang here, hatched 16 chicks! All silkies, everyone has 5 toes, except two of them, but I love them all!!! the guy with spots on his back I think hatched from a paint egg, does that seem like the right color? have two with spots on them like that... only hatched one partridge egg and that was not it... it's the little chick standing in the lid a couple images down... guess time will tell on all of them.

What a great hatch! And so many fun colors!! Just adorable!

Gonna be getting two Silkie chicks to add to my 2 EE's, 2 Brahmas, and 3 Leghorn chicks I got yesterday. I am very excited!

[/IMG] Cool! This is what we did with our net. My father inlaw was an athletic trainer for a college and they were going to throw it out when the got a new one and so he got it ,saved it for 25 years and tada!!! Needs a little work winter kicked its butt

Great minds think alike. The valley I live in has many ' netted ' cherry farms, when they replace the nets they sell large sections of the old ones for .50c a metre.
We had an old swing set , so we removed the swings and chains, put the net on the A frame and walla , instant coop.

hi, could someone please tell me what makes up a show quality silkie? I know the 5 toes, then I am getting blurry on the rest, just wanted some opinions.... mine are only 5 days old so not like i'll be showing anytime too soon anyhow.
