Silkie thread!

I read on the silkie club website of someone who placed drops of food coloring in the hens vent and you can see streaks of it on the eggs. I guess it's suppose to last for several days. It's worth a shot.

I know after my chicks not turning out to be cuckoo chicks I was very upset but this makes it so much better! If I can get a better picture of the roo he is beautiful. He almost has a frosted look to him.

I bought my cuckoo & black silkie eggs from her. Great wrapping, they made it to NY no problem. Most of the chicks are black, and two cuckoo, but I was supposed to have both black & cuckoo, so that's ok. The blacks look really good! The cuckoos are a project, so weirdness like a straight comb on one & the other getting red happens.

yeah i got a lot of different colors when they hatched I got that one and then I still have a blue I guess like a dark blue then her head is still light blue ????

but shes got feathers ontop of her crest that are the same color as her body . then i got one thats all blue .. Crazy coloring thats for sure
