You all are so lucky to be able to have roo's and silkies I have been looking for silkies for over a year now but I need adult females a lot to ask of breeders I know.

I have one full grown silkie and it is a roo. I hatched out three back in Sept two of those are hens hoping they would start laying next spring

Female, Male, Male... but its hard to tell.

I was going based off their poof but I do see why you feel the opposite based on the bump that is seen on the top one.

Yea I was going on what I can see basically just guessing. I have a roo he has about the same bump on his head these pics are of mine when they were six weeks old the one on the left is a roo.

Those of yours are beautiful birds. The one in the middle has some dark color makes it unique.

I think you have a cockerel and then two pullets. I love the marking on the second one. What color silkie is it?
