Noooo.......I guess you could say I'm in the process of growing my flock. I started out earlier this year by hatching eggs I bought on BYC (witch I do not recommend). I only say this because your results with shipped eggs can be heartbreaking, it's not very profitable, and results are delayed. I've come to the conclusion that in my future it will be better for me to buy started birds. With that said, I do have the ones I'm growing out and hoping some of them will be awesome. Presently I have waaayyyy too many silkies, and would like to disperse of my partridge ones. If I had to choose, they are my least favorite color. Maybe one day I will have eggs for sale and they will sell for LOTS and LOTS of money

I can dream cant I?

LOL....I agree when u buy eggs thru mail your chances of getting silkie chicks r very low. you may buy 12 eggs and only get 2 chicks:/. In the future if u do sell look me up I'll buy them.

I know no one was asking but I just have to say this . I agree you take a chance with shipped eggs and sometimes you feel it more then other times . But for me where I live -- I'm very grateful to those who sell there eggs on here !! If it wasn't for them I never would have had the opertunity for the quality silkies I have now . I have taken many chances and spent a lot of money on shipped eggs with no regrets . I love the few I have kept from my hatchings . I can honestly say I have had more hatch then not . Don't get me wrong I have had my fair share of bad dealings but I think in the long run I have benifitted more then not from buying shipped eggs and recomend that you not spend more then you are willing to loose and be sure you are ready to hatch -- learn all you can and be well prepared . I'd love to say make sure you check your breeders out first -- but that doesn't always mean anything . I haven't any real suggestions on the trust who thing . I can only share who has been good and who I haven't had such success with personally . I find in the most part silkie breeders I have bought from have been honest and I love the chicks I've hatched from them .~~~Tammy

I agree, I am very thankful for those whom shipped eggs to me. And from those eggs, I have hatched some lovely birds. I love hatching eggs greatly. Through trial and error I've decided it would be more beneficial for me to buy started birds in my future. Eggs are a gamble, I was well aware of that when I purchased the eggs. But for me it seems more practical to buy started birds, as I would t have to worry about these hatching
