Are there Large Fowl Silkie's?

I've seen 1 LF Silkie. He looked like a ginormous hatchery quality Silkie, but he was impressive. Like a giant Cochin in a Silkie suit. I still kick myself for not handing over my $5 and bringing him home.

Heck I wouldn't have had any other thoughts about it he would have been coming home with me

Well, if it had happened today, I certainly would have. I didn't have any Silkies at the time, and didn't know what I was looking at. I could've put him over my LF Cochins and then bred his daughters back to him and been well on my way to a LF Silkie project. Coulda, shoulda, woulda

One of my two silkie chicks. They are both the same age but this one doesn't have feathers on its feet.

This is my other one. They are the same age but this one already grew feathers on its feet.

If the feathers aren't there to start, they will never be there.

They're cute though, I love me some Silkie babies
