Silkie thread!

Hi! I have a 7 week old blue silkie and I am wondering what you may think as far as male or female with these photos. It's the one on the right in this photo.
As always, there's a 50% chance of guessing the sex, but it's too early to determine by crest alone and there is a Lump of sorts in the comb area, but I don't see very much if any wattle development . In another couple of weeks you should have a better idea. :)

Thanks, I am going to be putting them in a coop together in the future, hopefully. I want them separated from the roos that I have, they're standard sized but very big. I'm hoping to use them as broodies and as pets, and maybe train them for show.

The youtuber had a silkie that came when its name was called 0_0
That would be sooooo awesome if I could have some of my hens do that!
I can't say most of my hens know their individual names, but all my hens, silkies and large fowl both come running up to me as soon as they see me and cluster around my feet begging for treats. I can reach down and pet all but one and three or four of the silkies actively like being picked up. Petunia, my blue silkie hen, will peck at my feet until i pick her up and love on her. All of them will eat out of my hand and they all can be picked up even if some only tolerate it.

In many breeds, the babies are kind of wild but if you keep handling them as they hit egg laying age, they do settle down and get more lovey. .At least that's been my experience. I'm sure your chickies will come running to you if you keep working at it.

Thank you for your replies! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it is a pullet! Do silkie roosters have hair on top of the head that swoops back more and pullets that stand upright in a rounded circle? I wasn't sure if this one looked like it was swooping back?

Yes, you are right on the round, even poufs being pullets and cockerels having 'streamers' that flow back... but your Silkie isn't quite old enough to show either properly... it's still in the 'gangly teenager' phase... like Fancychooklady advised, I would give it a couple more weeks before checking again... :)

They do come to me (most of them lol) but once they realize I have no food, they walk away lol, but speckles loves it when I pet her. I'll try handling at when they hit egg laying age, thank you!
I handle them usually 2 times a day,
