Another option, slightly simpler: sit near the brooder and let them get used to your presence. Calm slow movements by the brooder and them will help. Talk to them. You can hold your hand in there and keep it very still. Let them get used to it. See how that goes![]()

That's the thing though. I sit next to them all the time and I do slowly put my hand in and will let it just sit there. And believe me I talk to them A LOT.
