Right now I have it set to 37.2 c and it's showing that it's 38.3 c. I'm freaking out cause I need to use it...

My experience with janoel were disastrous. I had 2 x both egg turners packed it in in the first week, wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole.
Did you re-calibrate the temp ?

This one is digital. The directions weren't clear at all. Can you recalibrate it?

That looks like mine but I think that one was the older model but anyways see about getting another thermometer to use incubator ones aren't always correct.

You need another thermometer placed inside to see if it is reading correctly , mine were both out by 6 degrees. If you google the make and model you should be able to find the instruction.

for our Silkie Chicken Coop. Does anyone have one?

Yes I have 2 seperate thermometers and hygrometers.

You need another thermometer placed inside to see if it is reading correctly , mine were both out by 6 degrees. If you google the make and model you should be able to find the instruction.

My dad ended up rigging one up for us and not purchasing one. Overall it works pretty well, but a purchased one would probably work better. Only issue we have had is that sometimes in the morning the door gets stuck and doesn't go up all the way, but the girls crawl out from under it. Also you just have to check and make sure no one gets left out. My girls are still young, and occasionally one won't make it in before the door closes. Eventually they may get better at getting in on time, or you could set the time to close later. Ours is supposed to close at sunset, but it's still sort of light outside when it closes.
