Hey Guys I Back With Some News And A Question. A while back i posted some chicks who i though would be cuckoo since they had baring well 7 are turning to be be grey's or silver penciled partridge silkies i have 1 that might be cuckoo i am waiting on that one more to grow and i have 2 porcelain silkies one is light one has more lavender coloring and 2 partridge and 2 blues so that is my update on them. will hopefully get update photos
And now for the question i have came down with another case of wry neck on one of the grey chick it is about a month old. She was very bad but i gave her all the meds she needed and she is now getting the straight neck back again no attacks and is now drinking and eating but i am kinda getting concerned i have to give her her meds and water through a syringe and she is getting water in her nose a little each time she drinks because she moves her head and she is sneezing a little here or there and i heard she can get it in her lungs but could that hurt her or she would have to gt alot of water in her lungs to hurt her??
Gosh, I've never syringed a Silkie. My two Silkies drink their liquid vitamins or prescription medications out of the palm of my hand. The vet wanted to syringe my Silkie and I took it from him and put the dose in my hand while he watched the Silkie drink it. He was surprised. None of my large fowl will drink meds from the hand but my two Silkies will.
