Just looking through a few pictures this evening. Even though she's not a livestock guardian dog or trained to be, Athena is fairly protective of her chickens. And they are hers, just ask her.

The silkies steal food out of her mouth. And just just complains but does nothing

Does anyone use horizontal nipples for their Silkies. I put one in a few weeks ago but the only ones that investigates it are the 6 week olds. They peck at the red part but not the silver trigger. My older ones could care less. Any tricks anyone has? I really want to get them to use these. I don’t want to have to deal with the heated water dish that gets so fealthy this winter.
