Silkie thread!

There is no "withdrawel" period for Ivermectin. I apply it every month on every bird that lives outside : 4-5 drops for cocks & hens; 3-4 drops for pullets and cockerels; 2-3 drops for unsexed.

Ok, Countrygirl911 Thats the one I'll take cause in the long run it should still be able to eat & drink. But send it on down to florida and I'll be waiting.

LOL! I wasn't planning on getting all 5... but maybe you guys have talked me into it! And "a couple" has always meant somewhere between 2 and 6 or 7 in my family... depending on what we were counting! LOL

Oh, definitely, a couple is at least 5 or 6!

And I should be able to get that at TSC? And should I dust the chickens then every month also? And before I move them to the new coop when its fiinished?

TSC has Ivermectin called "Iver-on" cattle pour on. If you use it then you don't need to also dust them. It takes care of internal and external blood sucking pests.

Racuda~~right again

up until this Spring it seemed to protect against everything, including mites....now I also have to either dip, dust, or spray the birds once a month with Permethrin to kill/prevent mites
