Silkie thread!

I have 2 bantam boys and 2 bantam girls and I love them almost as much as my silkies. They are full of personality, follow me everywhere and are very gentle with people and other chickens, not to mention I think they are gorgeous. The boys and girls are the watchdogs, they are very aware of their surroundings and are the last in the coop everynight.
They do great with the silkies but do boss around the younger silkies.

Thanks! He is Partridge, now whether he's Blue Partridge or not, I have no clue. These are my first Silkies.

I have a 4 day old chick that is these same colors. I'm hoping for a blue partridge also!

those are beautiful! Im getting back into the LF Faverolles next spring, its futile to resist!

those are beautiful! Im getting back into the LF Faverolles next spring, its futile to resist!

Thank you! They are hard to resist, aren't they! Mine are 5 months old and the boys did not go through that horrible teenage stage as badly as some of my silkie boys so that is a plus!!! But yes, you gotta get some again!

When I went on the search for the type of chickens I wanted to get, it was the favs all the way, but then I saw the silkies, so I ended up getting those first, then I got a leghorn for free, and then I got 4 wyandottes (3 left), then I got 5 cochin mutts and 1 Austrolorp and 1 Isa, and finally the 3 favs... I don't know what happened! I only wanted to get favs! LOL. But I love em all!
