Hey Colie,
They are molting right now.. Bummer, but I hope they do start laying again soon. How long does a molt take? I unfortunetly had to put them in with the rest of my flock right away, the hinge broke on the quarantine coop, and i didn't feel safe leaving them overnight in it, so, in they went. Believe it or not, it was not a problem at all. No tussle or anything. And the real amazing thing was, they learned where home was so fast! I only got them yesterday, and let them out with the other cluckers and they had no problem free ranging and coming home to the coop on time. I was worried a bit at first, but they were pretty good about it. And soooooo SWEET! The roo, Mr. Fluffers, he is so gentle with his girls and even my little boys can walk around by him and he's not showing aggression at them or even the 8 wk olds. The hens... They are more agressive than he is... And they are pretty sweet too. Not letting me pick them up yet tho with out a little fit... Gotta get used to me I guess.
