No it's blue. If a black pen has a super dark blue in it that looks black you can accidentally end up with blues.​

I'm hoping your right, because I've got one beautiful splash chick and no other color in the bunch to pair it with. Of course they are probably both the same sex.

HA HA They know were home is. next door the yard they was in has a pit bull but he won't hurt a flea.About 6 months ago 1 of my chickens flew over the fence and they let their dog out without knowing 1 of my chickens as in their yard & their dog had seen my chicken & came running over and laid on his back to get the chicken to play with him.Funny but true story.

I think there is a brown leghorn so probably pretty similar. I doesn't really matter, baby chicks are a treasure!!
