I always en up with roosters.I think they know I want pullets so they are trying to tell me something I guess

Seriously. This summer I only hatched a handful of pullets... but lord at the cockerels!
One whole batch of 7-8 chicks.... ALL cockerels!
Another batch of 8 chicks.... 5 cockerels!
The list goes on.

I have a breeding question! If I had a BLUE silkie roo and a black silkie hen... would I have a shot at blue chicks? How do you breed for blue?
