We found out our black silkie Roo was doing the nasty with the Rhode Island Reds. I decided to hatch one just to see what they would look like.

This is chippee at a couple of days old. This is chippee today, I believe and hopefully is a female.

She is 5 weeks old today.

I am hoping to breed her back to a silkie to try to get that gorgeous reddish color. What color silkie would be best?
