That's a great shot.

Never thought of using a flower pot for a box for them.

If I am not mistaken, Silver partridge is actually grey, and yes it is a recognized color. Is there a standard yet for Silver partridge?

They can have penciling or no penciling, but penciling shows up more prevalent from what I have read. I will have to find it again and post.I think silver partridge and grey are different from each other because of what the judge said. Seems like silver partridge would have penciling like a regular partridge. But I might be wrong? I would like it if they were both recognized.
So fluffy!!
Thanks! We hatch our duck eggs in an incubator and don't mist then. We get a pretty good hatch rate from them.![]()
Pretty color! Looks like a girl.
Guess that cinches it!
My husband always takes them to a public location. We get $5 up front via paypal or mail so we don't get stood up.Today a woman contacted me to buy some of my culls through Craigslist. I didn't give her my address until the last minute and of course she stood me up. I was so frustrated not only because she didn't show up but because she had my address. I don't want to start being paranoid, but if I give my exact location to her or someone else, they could perfectly break in and steal my birds. At night, they are all in locked up coops but during the day they are in the runs and those are not locked. I am starting to think it would be better to drive in an unknown location with a few birds that I would put in a kennel crate. How do you sell your culls? Do you meet at your house?
Great idea!
