Little advise silkie ppl!
My silkie isn't as fluffy (like a marshmallow, normaly the white ones)
Is there different types of silkies? She's a yr old fluffy but not around her head: hope that makes sense?

Do you have a picture? She might just be pet quality, did you get her from a hatchery or a feed store?

I got her from a breeder who hatched different breeds of chicks! My iPad won't let me upload A photo

She's fluffy just not loads on/around her head

I think it was just too weak.  It took over 30 hours to hatch out, I'm wondering if it just didn't have anything left in him to keep going??

There's the first four!!

This little lavender has a crooked middle toe on it's left foot, I just noticed. How soon should I tape it's little toes? It's a day old now.


And then there's little Spot, the easter egger chick. Spot hatched a week later than the other eggs under our broodies. Late bloomer, I guess.

All eggs were set at the same time...

LOVE #3's foot feathering! I believe you want to set the toe now or you may not be able to fix it.
