If you breed a white silkie with a white silkie will all there chicks be white.
I know I miss a day or two and it's too many post to read through.I spent a half hour looking for that post and gave up. If I miss a couple days checking in here it becomes nearly impossible to keep up with every post. I try to answer questions if it's something I know about. It is good to post the question more than once if it seems it was overlooked in the swarm of daily postings.
https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/vent-gleet-aka-nasty-chicken-buttAnyone have any suggestions on treating vent gleet? I think Christine's girls may have it. I have been giving them apple cider vinegar in their water, but ti doesn't help that it's been so hot and they have been drinking a lot and eating watermelon. I have heard of using an anti-fungal cream from the drugstore? I also am deworming them in case that is the problem. Actually, is it bad to deworm with wazine if the woman I got them from just gave them oral ivomec? I am going to get them some probiotics too. Any suggestions?
Sorry you feel this waypeople here are really nice and helpful. This thread can move so fast sometimes it could be over looked or no one knew the answer. Don't know what our question was, you could try reposting.![]()
Not really, a frizzle is a bird with frizzled feathers of any breed. They are labeled as their own breed by the APA but are judged as the breed they are, such as a frizzled cochin, frizzled silkie, sizzle, frizzled polish, etc. Do you know what kind of frizzles you have?
