Silkie thread!

I spent a half hour looking for that post and gave up. If I miss a couple days checking in here it becomes nearly impossible to keep up with every post. I try to answer questions if it's something I know about. It is good to post the question more than once if it seems it was overlooked in the swarm of daily postings.
I know I miss a day or two and it's too many post to read through.
Anyone have any suggestions on treating vent gleet? I think Christine's girls may have it. I have been giving them apple cider vinegar in their water, but ti doesn't help that it's been so hot and they have been drinking a lot and eating watermelon. I have heard of using an anti-fungal cream from the drugstore? I also am deworming them in case that is the problem. Actually, is it bad to deworm with wazine if the woman I got them from just gave them oral ivomec? I am going to get them some probiotics too. Any suggestions?

people here are really nice and helpful. This thread can move so fast sometimes it could be over looked or no one knew the answer. Don't know what our question was, you could try reposting.

It can be hard being new on a thread. It has been for me too at times. I have not posted on this one but have on another silkie thread. My questions don't always get answered either but I don't give up. There are some very nice people here and the info you will find here is invaluable. So please don't leave. I will get my nerve up one day to post just keep in mind like Suzierd said it can really move fast at times so you may have to repost a couple times. I don't think anyone will mind your doing that. Once they get use to seeing you posting regularly then you will have a ball. So please don't be disappointed...just keep your chin up and post away!

I'm silkie crazy! Lol! I got 3 new silkies today & 4 frizzles. Are frizzles considered silkies or their own breed?

Not really, a frizzle is a bird with frizzled feathers of any breed. They are labeled as their own breed by the APA but are judged as the breed they are, such as a frizzled cochin, frizzled silkie, sizzle, frizzled polish, etc. Do you know what kind of frizzles you have?

If you breed a white silkie with a white silkie will all there chicks be white.

I think so... but it could be 50/50

I don't know what they are. I didn't know to ask. I've posted on several frizzle threads but I'm not getting any responses. Would anyone here be able to identify my cuties?
