I am wanting to show my silkies in the fair for 4-H which is at the end of August. I got them around the beginning of May and i was wondering if they would be ready to show? Any advice helps.

How old are they? They should be at least 5 months and if you are going to condition them you will need to start now. You can check out the "silkie breeding, genetics, and showing" thread

Here r my new buffs!!!!! I finally have all the colors I want at the moment now just waiting till I get a good steady laying pattern and I can start hatching and selling eggs and I also need to organize my pens more ugh I'm gonna build the perfect coop one day lol anyways my buff roo has a rosé comb so I chased down all the linage breeders and other well known breeders and they say that his goods weigh out the bad and only some offspring will have it so I may get a new roo or breed hen back to better offspring

When you say condition, what do you mean? Not just bathing? Feeding something special?

In search of Fertile Silkie bantam Hatching Eggs in Cuckoo Coloration. 12-18 of them preferably, and I thought this might be a good place to post about me looking for some I have silkie/showgirl eggs due to hatch out this up-coming week, but the cuckoo's that I had bought all were duds The P.O did a number on them, and most were scrambled upon arrival or had broken air cells, and neither of the 2 that were "alive" when candled made it past day 14. Oh the joys of shipping hatched eggs lol
