Silkie thread!

You can get it at the feed store or tractor supply. If you're unsure it will not hurt her but I'm not a big fan of antibiotic use if they're not sick. Causes resistance. If she has bloody poo and acts cold then I'd treat her with CORID which is for cocci. The antibiotic will not do anything for cocci. Get her treated for mites for sure and put her on an electrolyte in her water and if you can get it I'd try to get poultry nutridrench and drop some of it in her beak. It's a vitamin/mineral drench and works wonders on sick animals. Let uz know when you listen to her if you hear anything. That will tell us a lot and what your next steps are.

I have seen her drink ( how much during the day, I don't know b/c I can't watch her all day) and food I know she is getting in the morning/evening when she's in the coop. I haven't seen her go up during the day to eat. I did check her eyes and they looked clear. I will listen to her tomorrow....is that something I can get at the feed store? How long should I put her on it? If I'm unsure, would it hurt her if she'd didn't have an infection?

Thanks!

I wouldn't put her on antibiotics unless you see a reason to. Lice and mites can kill a chicken, I would dust her right away and worm her with Valbazen. Best of luck she is a beautiful girl.
