Oh my goodness she's so tiny! I have one I got at a day or two old that is the same color. I was told she's blue.

I never meant to get silkies. I was picking up some other chicks last week and the nice lady said, "You can have these four silkies if you want." Um, well yes please! lol Now they're my favorites!

BABY!!!!!! I am so completely shocked at this little one! I didn't even realize I put one of Icelynn's eggs under Kiva! Now I wonder who the dad is =P

I'm so excited for you! I know Icelynn is your special girl. My very first chick hatched yesterday too. They could be sisters! She's all dry and fluffed out this morning.


Is it normal for the ends of their little toes to be pink instead of black? Will they turn dark as the chick ages?

AWWWW! Yes it is, they should darken up within the week. I also have 2 sizzles that hatched so far! One is a partridge from my girl chanel and the other is white or paint from mama Kiva who is raising them all.
