Not always LOL! I have one who crows but it's a bit of a quiet raspy crow, and another is obnoxiously constant!

My Silkie roosters earned their keep yesterday by sounding an alarm when a hawk dove down into our yard and came up empty handed. The hens and chicks quickly ran for cover and stayed hidden until the all clear signal was given. I was so proud of my boys, even though seeing the hawk scared me. This is the first I have seen a hawk in our yard and I hope it is also the last.

Cute =D I would ask peter brown about that beak. I can see what you mean in that picture but have no idea... his waddles look swollen too

I believe my non bearded silkie rooster has a cold. What can I do to help it? It has been raining a lot here. I'm surprised he is just now getting one.

I moved the two babies outside three nights ago they are six weeks and three days old its dropping down to low fiftys and upper forties, do you think they will be ok? Just the two of them in a little dog house. Should I bring them back in?
