I wish the laundry room was cooler but its warm as the rest of the house. Going to get down to 43 tomorrow night.

I am sorry, chickens do not get colds.  They can get an inflammation in their lungs or other diseases - but it is not a cold because its not caused by the germs that cause colds.  Sneezing, pussy eyes and coughing are symptoms of several other chicken diseases, and all can have different treatments.  I would go over to the diseases and emergencies are and start a thread describing exactly what your birds symptoms are, I think somebody can figure out what you have and how to deal with it.

If you have mold or mildew in your coop because of the rain he could be reacting to that.   It doesn't give them a cold though, just an inflammation in the lungs.  I had a bird who had chronic inflammation of the lungs and crop and esophagus and the only symptom was that she wouldn't eat because it hurt.

Well I did find some mold in the coop the other day. I got rid of it, but it may have been to late though.

thank you so much for replying.  I will try and bring her inside tomorrow morning and wash her up and put coconut oil on her feet. maybe I"m missing something that I'm just not seeing.  
 
 
 
 
 
as for the dislocated knee, I'm not sure. I tried feeling both sides and tried to see if one feels different from the other and I can't figure it out.  if it were dislocated, how would I fix it?

Dislocation is an awful thing to see a chicken in. Unfortunately it would be up to the chicken to either fix her self or learn with her new disability. She could already be in the process if you can't feel a difference in knee size.

Well I did find some mold in the coop the other day. I got rid of it, but it may have been to late though.

Spray Oxine (AH)in a fine mist sprayer over his head about 4 to 5 sprays three times a day. If its fungal that should clear it up. The runny nose part makes me worry for you. If your dealing with a respiratory disease his showing days are over. Very sorry your dealing with this.

Ok guys, I think the next chick due to hatch today, has died in the shell yesterday I saw the egg rocking and then today, nothing. I can't get it to move at all. usually if I shine a light at it through the incubator, it'll start moving around. but nothing. I've tried ALL day!

You just might have a house chicken. In that case you can get parrot diapers to put on her might be the best thing til it heals.

yeah.... while I wouldn't mind that, hubby would NOT go for it! plus, I have parrots, and I'd be afraid some sort of chicken germ would cross with my parrots
