Hey guys

it is day 6 and I saw no change on eggs in Bator.

I cracked one and nothing. Itbwas fertile and o even compared to store bought egg. But it wasn't doing anything.

temps set at 100 and turning hem 3x Idk what's wrong. My roosters supposedly,11 months a silkie and his spur is 1/2 inch long. Idk if he is infertile or maybe I'm,crazy and there not fertile. I looked in middle of circle and it looks like a squirt of white was places inside..hard to explain.

ivsee him do wing thing and peck her head but never he deed.

I have no other roosters so he can't watch what he is doing. What to do?

I wouldn't gt rid of him if he was infertile but he would have amazing chicks as he is super sweet.

I only had one egg lol. She doesn't lay a lot. She was egg bound and I helped her out. She laid soft egg. I'll have to do that next time.

I have a splash hen that has like a bald spot on her head so her crest does not look as full as it used to. I just noticed her crest looking smaller about two weeks ago when I was getting her ready for a show. I have two shows coming up, one in almost a week and another in about three weeks. I don't know if its just taking a while to come back in or what. I have no idea when the feathers came out or how but her crest definitely looks smaller and I don't know why its not coming back in? Its been about 2-3 weeks now from when I noticed it. Oh and she doesn't seem to be molting.

Day 22 for the new silkie egg!!!! No hatch yet that I know of... but when I candled it last that chick was movin!!!! Super excited! Any guesses on color? I had a greyish blue roo and I've got a buff broody.

The roo is colored like this

Is the Buff broody the mother of the egg? With that boy and the Buff you will get Smutty Buff or possibly an oddball color. You may get a gold "Partridge" or a silver "Partridge". I think the Gold will be male or the Silver will be female.

They are feeling much better today.

Hooray - I am very glad for that. I didn't know how to help, I am glad somebody else did. Is that Chance there?

This is exactly what several of my chicks looked like that hatched 3 wks ago. There were 10 Silkies & 3 standard chicks. Was able to sell 7 of the Silkies. Kept a Showgirl, Black & Grey.

I know the little one is the back is blue, but I'm not sure if Chance is black or dark blue. He looks black in person. Were your's SQ or Pet?
