Silkie thread!

His comb, hackle and sickle feathers and that gorgeous red identify him as a rooster. I would call him calico (grey with red leakage). Perhaps someone lost him going to or from a show. Or worse, dumped him. I suppose he could have been carried off by a pred and wandered to your house, but that seems a little unlikely.
He's a very handsome fellow

Edited to add- I thought the first picture was also your rooster, now I see its not. The bird in the other pictures still looks like a boy to me, his comb is quite large. He could be partridge unless he really looks like the first boy. Good luck with him

How do you know for sure he is a rooster?????? No crowing just cherping. Anyhow my SIL might take him if he is a boy. He didn't look dumped as he has had a lot of feathers pulled from the wings and tail end like he was got by a Fox and carried, but managed to escape. We don;t have him with any of the flock he is in a cat cage right now and has meds but he will get a good going over!

Oes
His comb is large, and he seems to have a slicked back crest with possible "streamers". Also the hackles look a bit male-ish. I hope he was just carried off and escaped death, but roosters are usually dumped on purpose

.

Is he a LF or a bantam? I know you in Ireland, we don't have the LF versions here in the US.

This is very weird. My rooster is trying to get under my hen. He's almost a year..11 months..or so the guy said. His spurs half an inch long.

he is odd for sure. Its a bit chilly out but never in my life seen that before.

maybe he thinks he is a baby. Maybe that why he isn't fertilizing her eggs lol

I think he just wants to get warm!

He know's right where to go lol. He is pretty naked, like my roo, so he probably is having a harder time keeping warm than your fluffy hen.

I do. and selenium too. :( I'm treating her as though she has a deficiency. but she seems to not be doing the neck thing now as much, just seems to have a really hard time walking.
Are you giving any hard boiled egg? The yolk is realy good for them when they are like this. If it's a hen, it is most likely not Marek's. Marek's will typically only affect younger birds, 3-9 weeks or so.
