That is an interesting color - looks Pink? Well get some more pictures when they get a bit older - or let us know what color the wing feathers and tail feathers are when they come in. I have never seen a pink chick - all my "Buff" start out yellow.

Sounds like they will be whiteI have a question. I am new to silkie genetics so please be easy on me but...I have a white roo and three hens White, Blue, and black. all my chicks that are hatching are yellow with a brown tint. What color will they be? They look almost buff colored but it's not a uniform color and I don't understand how that is even possible. Shouldn't I have a variety of colors?
Adorable! Great pics!I wanted to jump in and share my first silkies. I had five hatch. Three were born with a cone head, two were not. I have not named them yet. They are super chill and aren't expressing too much personality besides just "laid back". Not sure if that is just their demeanor, or if they are depressed or what. I cannot believe how CUTE they are!![]()

Compared to my Serama chicks, that are in the same brooder, they are just laid back..
The Serama are very active, jump over the other chicks and generally are busy all the time..........
Very sweet pictures............
That one one top has some pretty cool dance moves!![]()
Beautiful babies!
Very cute! Well why not - her biological momma probably looks similarly fuzzy....This chick thinks my dog is her momma....it is so sweet. My dog just lets her snuggle in.
