More free ranging today has made them spoiled. I went out to take a picture of something, and I turned and saw this. They saw me and all piled up at the end of the run, ready to go back out again. I felt awful but at that moment I couldn't supervise them. They are going to bed soon anyway lol.

this is how mine sleep in their broader (dog crate) but I guess now that they are off heat and are 6 weeks old, it's more of their indoor "coop" hahaha.

Hey guys.
I have gotten a red silkie from a friend he's mature and sweet. But my two roos are always at it so I have to separate them.

now what was odd was I got my first too Ichabod because he was always fighting with roos. But I had a chick who I I introduced. He saw him as a baby and when he was 3 months he did wing thing at him and too backed off. They. Soon ate and slept together.

so why did Ichabod like the young too chick and not one his age?

I have 3 chicks now who he doesn't mind too. But red too pecks at them while Ichabod does wing dance to then lol

Just throwing this out there... my 10 week old white chicks are impossible to sex! My colored chicks are pretty definitive around 6 to 8 weeks. These teeny little fluff balls are a mystery!
