Its just soft normal looking skin. Its just bald lol Weirdest thing ive ever seen lol.

How strange. It almost sounds fungal. Can chicks get ringworm I wonder? Is she one from that sketchy breeder? Try a little betadine twice daily. I had a kitty with ringworm and the vet prescribed betadine shampoo. I use betadine on my chicks and chickens for wounds, never caused a problem for them. Just take a qtip and dab a little on the spot and a little around the perimeter of it. It will stain but will fade out in time. Love me some betadine. I'm a people nurse so I tend to treat my birds like little people so long as the stuff is avian safe ;)

Uhoh maybe it is ringworm. With that shady environment those birds came from. The betadine should help that if that is what it is.
Oh and I should mention that ringworm is quite contagious to people. It looks like from this article you can use lotramin cream for athletes foot on chickens. I would do a little research on safety of the lotramin though. You poor thing. If it hasn't been one thing its been another with these chickies.

Yes she came from that shady breeder :s Grr im not surprised then if thats what it is. She's growing really well and seems healthy otherwise at least. It's just this odd bald spot. Where could I find betadine? Is it expensive? Yes, this has just been a roller coaster ride so far :( I was hoping it was nothing and I could just forget about it -sigh. Ive been touching it and everything so I sure hope I dont catch it now, ughh.

You can get betadine at any drugstore. If you can use lotramin on a chick that would be good as its an antifungal. And you guys can use the lotramin if it is and you get it. When you treat a ringworm spot its super important to get the spot and a bit of the outside perimeter. It can take up to two weeks to see improvement, at least in people. But do some research on using the lotramin on chicks to be sure its safe. I would avoid the sprays and only use the cream.
Betadine runs about 11.00 a bottle but its great to have around just in case. I had a Redsexlink chick get grabbed by a cat. I immediately doused the wound with water and then poured some betadine into the wounds. She never even got an infection, that is impressive as cat bites are horrible.
