Silkie thread!

So excited, my little Sophia (white silkie) who has been oh so broody will get some eggs to sit on that are actually fertile. She has been so diligently sitting on the other hens eggs and such a good girl as I've collected them daily. Now she will have the chance to be the Mama she wants to be. Today when I take the infertile eggs (no rooster in that pen) I'll exchange them for fertile Maran eggs.

ok i have a transport cage that i keep them in the bigger chickens seem to be ingoring them for the most part i have been giving them all some outdoor time today it was pretty warm here today.. so i need to keep them in the cage seperating them for 2-3 more months

Some times this goes smoothly and sometimes you can get a real bully or two. I would give it a week and let them together watch see how it goes. Some pecking order is normal.
If there's a big size difference you would want to wait till the young ones are close to the same size before you put them all together.
