Silkie thread!

I have a concern. My DH went on a 2 week trip. I am taking care of all the animals. Included in that is Buff the Builder our Buff Silkie that loves to hang with DH even with the power tools going. Buff has been sleeping a ton and just not himself the pat several day. He is sleeping most of the time and is not doing much of anything. I am worried since normally Buff is the first one out of the Silkie house every day. Am I being silly thinking Buff may be depressed or should I be concerned. I have Buff in a "brooder" in my bedroom to keep a close eye on him. I know I am spoiling him, but this is my husband's favorite. His sebright went missing a few weeks ago and now this with the Silkie.

Ok so after EXTENSIVE care I think my silkie is going to make it. I have been waiting to see if she would pull through before posting anymore on her. ( Never get my hopes up lol). The only problem was that because she has been down and out for so long, she has no leg strength at all. She tries to stand up and ends up with her chest on the ground and her tail flapping in the wind, and completely flips over on her back. Head first. Now I know I am with people who love there feathered fowl friends just as much as I do, so I am sharing this in confidence with you guys. She has as of today underwent her first round of physical therapy.

Well on my order me and some friends ordered 6 silkies and 3 LF chicks. One of the Silkies didn't survive shipping, but I live in MN so that's kinda far away from Texas. 9 chicks total and they sent 10 extra roos, I raised 4 of them and just found a new home for them a week ago. My chicks are 10 weeks old today so I kept those roos for awhile.
So they shouldn't add THAT many roos.

10 extra roos!

I ordered 14 chicks, and I live pretty far away too

I hope I don't get too many roos. Do they put that green food in the box for the chicks? And what breed was the 10 extra roos?

I would worm him (all of them really) with safeguard. Parasites (internal and external) are my first guesses when adult chickens all of a sudden seem "off".
