I can't believe I'm looking for a rooster. It is usually so the opposite. Lol

If I were closer I'd love to offload one, or five even.
I have four silkies around 16 weeks old. I am thinking three roos and one hen. But I have had the conversation with them, if they behave, they can stay...hope they are listening..
Here's my silkie at 6.5 weeks old. Will I be able to see anything at this age to determine sex? Give me your opinions on her, Thanks!

yep I was kinda afrade of that! Very sweet chick!I think its a roo. It has a very cocky stance.
I hate to be the one to tell you this but your poor little hen will be oversexed and more than likely spend her days hiding once they mature. The only way to keep them in that ratio is to pen them separately .
I know, if I am right, that some may have to go. So far, I only KNOW one is a roo, he has the comb and wattles to prove it. I know the one is a hen, just waiting for the other two to let me know what they are. They are in a mixed flock, so Lemon (my silkie hen) shouldn't be too harassed.
