Silkie thread!

Updated pictures of my silkie babies! :love It's picture heavy so I apologize in advance! (Captions will be on top of the picture, instead of the bottom) One of the "paints." I think it's going to be more of a white with brown an black. Also, it's obvious now that the mama is the sizzle because I think they are also going to be sizzles? The two pictures below are of Alaska. This is Luna! :) The other "paint" which I believe is also a sizzle. The two pictures below are Aspen! This is my lavender silkie - Keira. This is the blue one - Dakota. Here they are with my two Easter Egger's (Bambi and Rebel) and Australorp (Marguex). Two of my silkies and my two sizzle's! The sizzle duo (; Chicks!
Lovely. I don't think they are paints. The ' chipmunk ' stripes are more indicative of partridge. On the other hand your little blue could be a splash, bit hard to tell from the pic.

This is my splash silkie I noticed reddish flecks is this leakage?
And any guesses if it's a roo or pullet I'm thinking a roo the feathers growing out

Do you have any pictures? I'd love to see! :)
Thank you!! I took more pictures today so I'll spam again in a few minutes hehe
My silkie is quite a bit more grown up than yours, but when we got her, she looked like yours, a little white pouf with legs.

This is Yukon. I wanted to name her york, like york pepermint patty, but yukon just suited so well after my dad mentioned it. she is super friendly and cuddly. and she has the same haircut as my dad XD

Your sizzles are gorgeous! I want some!!
I hope they are sizzles! Their "feathers" are kind of curly and not anything like my other chicks!

I had a feeling they weren't!! The breeder was the one that told me they were paint and the little gray one was lavender.. I think she lied to me to get me to buy more since I'm
new to poultry ): Partridge is still cute! Is there such thing as white partridge? Do you think they are sizzles? I hope the little one is splash! Originally I wanted a paint or splash one! How would it have to look for splash? I can try taking more pictures tomorrow morning!

She's precious!! I love the name Yukon! York would've been a pretty name too!
What a sweet little girl that loves her humans!

Fancychooklady, does this help a bit?
Very precious. A paint will have colour spots or blotches that go all the way to the skin. A splash will only have the variations towards the surface, just as if someone ' splashed ' it with paint. :) Partridge come in many shades , from very light to vibrant red , generally you can tell them apart from other colours by their ' chipmunk ' stripes at hatch. As they grow their ' morcap ' ( dark crown ) wing tips (osprey feathers ) and tail feathers are much darker than the body . :)
