Really? Because I have one that I think is a boy because of the streamers and none of the other boys try to mate him. But he doesn't crow and doesn't have a prominent comb. So I'm totally confused. But there are clear streamers.

Here's my girl that looks like she has streamers to me.

All my roos have those coming from their crests and the hens have even, rounded crests...

I've heard both the ' swoosh back ' feathers in the crest and the flat ' ribbon ' like hard feathers in a cockerels tail , referred to as ' streamers ' . Some will have both and others might only display one of these traits.

However the standarard of perfection allows for only a few of these streamers in the crest and refers to the ' streamers ' in the tail as ' lesser sickles '.
